Oblong, Inc. Announces Corporate Name Change to TaoWeave, Inc.
Company officially changes corporate name to TaoWeave, Inc., reflecting its evolution into a digital asset treasury company.
Read More →TaoWeave is the first publicly traded company dedicated to acquiring and holding Bittensor (TAO), providing regulated exposure to the decentralized AI revolution.
An open marketplace for machine intelligence, enabling global collaboration on AI development.
21 million maximum supply with four-year halving cycles, creating programmatic scarcity.
An emerging asset class attracting significant institutional interest and capital allocation.
We believe Bittensor represents a paradigm shift in how artificial intelligence is developed, owned, and monetized. By accumulating TAO tokens, TaoWeave shareholders gain exposure to:
The first publicly traded company with a TAO-exclusive treasury strategy.
TaoWeave, Inc. (NASDAQ: TWAV) is a digital asset treasury company focused exclusively on Bittensor (TAO). We provide investors with a regulated, publicly traded vehicle to gain exposure to the decentralized AI economy.
Our strategy centers on acquiring and holding TAO tokens, staking them on the Bittensor network, and building long-term value for our shareholders. Looking ahead, we are exploring opportunities to invest directly in the Bittensor ecosystem through partnerships with subnets, miners, and validators. We operate with zero debt, maintain appropriate cash reserves, and focus entirely on maximizing our TAO position.
TaoWeave represents a strategic transformation of Oblong, Inc. (OBLG), pivoting from technology services to become a pure-play digital asset treasury company. This transformation positions us at the intersection of two transformative technologies: artificial intelligence and blockchain.
Many investors cannot or prefer not to directly hold digital assets due to custody concerns, regulatory requirements, or investment mandates. TaoWeave bridges this gap by providing TAO exposure through a familiar, regulated public equity structure.
A focused approach to building long-term value through TAO accumulation.
Strategically purchase TAO tokens using corporate capital and equity offerings.
Maintain a long-term holding strategy with secure institutional custody.
Participate in the Bittensor network through staking to generate additional yield.
Unlike diversified crypto funds, we concentrate entirely on Bittensor, allowing deep expertise and maximum exposure to TAO's potential.
We take a measured approach to capital management, optimizing our financial position to support both operational stability and strategic growth in our TAO holdings.
As a public company, we provide regular SEC filings, quarterly reports, and real-time treasury visibility to all shareholders.
Through staking on the Bittensor network, we actively participate in and support the decentralized AI ecosystem.
The decentralized AI network powering the future of machine intelligence.
Bittensor is a decentralized, open-source protocol that creates a marketplace for machine intelligence. It enables AI models to be trained, shared, and monetized in a permissionless environment.
The network operates through "subnets" - specialized sub-networks focused on different AI tasks such as text generation, image processing, financial prediction, and more.
TAO is the native token of the Bittensor network, used for staking, governance, and compensating AI model contributors. Its tokenomics mirror Bitcoin with a 21 million maximum supply and four-year halving cycles.
What if AI didn't have to be controlled by a handful of corporations? "The Incentive Layer" tells the story of Bittensor's founding vision and explores how decentralized networks could democratize artificial intelligence—creating a future where innovation is open and ownership is distributed.
Watch "The Incentive Layer"Halving Schedule: Like Bitcoin, TAO emissions are halved approximately every four years, creating increasing scarcity over time.
📅 The first TAO halving is projected to occur on December 15, 2025.
📊 Live Data: Price & supply from CoinGecko. Network stats (subnets, staking, validators) from Taostats API.
No single entity controls the network. AI development is distributed across thousands of participants globally.
Miners are rewarded for providing valuable AI services, creating a merit-based economy for machine intelligence.
Specialized subnets allow focused development on specific AI applications while maintaining network cohesion.
